The Story of Floura Studio

Floura Studio began in Toronto with a sewing machine, scraps of floral fabric, and my fluffy kid, Dandan.

Because she has always loved flowers, the first things I made for her, a cozy bandana and a little dog bed were stitched from small floral fabrics. As I sewed and pieced them together, I discovered the joy of creating something unique with my own hands.

Soon I noticed there was leftover fabric. On those windy Toronto days, while Dandan happily stopped to sniff the blossoms, my hair was left tangled and messy. Plain elastics were harsh and uninspiring, so I decided to craft a scrunchie for myself. Soft, floral, and gentle, it held my hair securely while adding beauty to my everyday.

That small project became a turning point. I realized these handmade pieces didn’t need to be just for me, they could be shared with friends, and eventually with anyone who wanted accessories that feel thoughtful and special.

Today, every piece at Floura Studio is inspired by the same values:
